*Earnhardt Jr. Attempts to Win First DMP Series Title Tonight, Live on OLRTV.com

General News

It's come down to this. After winning early in the season at Kansas and
Nashville, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., has slipped in recent weeks to trail current
DMP Sim Factory Pro Series points leader Ray Alfalla by only 48 markers. The
third generation Sprint Cup Series star needs a solid run at his favorite
racetrack, Talladega Superspeedway, to have any shot of claiming his first
career DMP Pro Series title.

The season finale will be broadcast live on OLRtv.com at 9:30pm ET. Aside
from the two title contenders, other pre-entrants include Team RedBull
driver AJ Allmendinger, DEI pilot Martin Truex, Jr., Earnhardt's raceday
spotter TJ Majors, Speed51.com sponsored Tom Hazard, Legends car standout
Josh Berry (up from the DMP Sportsman Series) and many other top talents.

Alfalla, a former DMP Series champion and driver of the No. 2 Buttkicker
Live! Chevrolet, lost last season's title in the final race to Bobby Bryant
after a mechanical failure sidelined him from the event. The road will not
be easy for the Florida driver, however, as gunning for the front of the
field will not only be Earnhardt but others who are winless this season
including TJ Majors, Truex, Dan DeNayer, Keith Bishop, and Ryan Howard. AJ
Allmendinger has a single triumph to his name at Pocono and wants to even
himself with Earnhardt and Alfalla at two wins apiece.

"If we can replicate our effort at Daytona, then we shouldn't have anything
to worry about," said Alfalla over the weekend in regards to his fourth
place finish a few weeks ago. "The biggest thing we have to worry about is
the big one and if we can stay away from that, I'm very confident we can
take home our second title in three seasons."

"Ray's pretty good and he's going to be hard to beat," said Earnhardt after
his third place finish two weeks ago at Kansas, a race that Alfalla won.
"Unless he has some problems, it's going to be real hard to catch him. But
anything can happen so we'll show up at Talladega and hope for the best."

For more information on the DMP Sim Factory Pro Series, go online to
www.dmp-racing.com. Series sponsor, The Sim Factory, recently released the
critically acclaimed "ARCA Sim Racing '08," the first true stock car
simulation title for the PC in over half a decade featuring cars, stars, and
tracks of the ARCA Re/MAX Series including Daytona International Speedway,
Talladega Superspeedway, Iowa Speedway, and many other top tier facilities
across North America.

Tonight's OLRtv broadcast will be anchored by Deryl Morley, track announcer
at both Londonderry Raceay and Lee USA Speedway in New Hampshire with color
commentary provided by Tony Stevens, a crew member from various series
including ASA, ARCA, and Hooters ProCup over the past ten years. Pit
Reporter Josh Fredrichs is actively involved in the ASA Midwest Tour and
broadcast producer Matt Thomas is at a racetrack every week as a key member
of the DirecTV Hotpass team.

9:30 PM -- OLRtv.com -- Don't miss it!!
Prizes are scheduled to be given away in chat during the broadcast so come
early and stay late.

The Sim Factory and NVIDIA team up for NVISION 08

General News
The Sim Factory is very excited to team up with NVidia for the NVISION 08 show in San Jose August 25-27.

Featuring over 55 hours of jaw-dropping visual wonderment - from today's hottest games and movies, video, science, mobile and computer technologies - you will get to experience, touch and feel the latest visual technologies that will change your life. And let you see into the future.

You'll also get to meet the inventors and the celebrities who are leading the revolution!

The Sim Factory will be setting up two full cockpit simulators running ASR08 and will be demonstrating the ability to train with our technologies on stage with Kyle Busch.

The race between Kyle and myself will be shown on a theater sized projection screen for the thousands in attendance to view. After the demonstration both cockpits will be moved to NVidia's booth where attendees of the show can experience the head-to-head driving action themselves.

Nick Steelman and myself will be in attendance from the Sim Factory and we are very excited for the relationship that we are building with NVidia. We are already in discussions with NVidia in regards to their newly acquired AGEA technologies, which we believe will be the future of ASR.

We are certain that the future of racing simulation will be based on the AGEA technologies now owned by NVidia and that we will be able to deliver more degrees of motion than curently allowed in physics and a far higher level of graphic detail and animations because of the usage of this technology.

As we may be new to this industry as well as having our flaws...we will not stop our quest to deliver our clients an even higher level of racing realism than allowed with todays technology and continue to strive to be the best at stock car racing in the simulation industry.

ASR Charity race for ARCA RE/MAX Chaplain

General NewsARCA SimRacing is in the process of setting up a charity race to help a friend of the Sim Factory and the ARCA RE/MAX Series and my reason to post here is to see if anyone from our community would be interested in attending/competing in this event.

Bill Krick, the Chaplian of the ARCA RE/MAX Series (Focus Motorsports Ministries) has suffered a heart attack and the ARCA RE/MAX community is doing everything they can to try and raise charitable doantions for Bill and his wife, whom have long been a staple of the series. Bill is going through what many in life go through when injured...problems with insurance coverage. The ARCA RE/MAX Series has asked us to step up and do what we can within our simulation community to raise some money for Bill and his wife and we are honored to do what we can to help out.

If you have ever suffered injury or been in a racing incident, the Chaplain and his wife are always there to comfort the families and friends at the infield care center or hospitals and they also hold prayer services and personal prayers with drivers before each race.

This event would be something that is very special to us and the series and I believe personally that there are alot of people in our community that will step up to the plate to help someone who has helped so many in our industry throughout the years.

The race will be a fully officiated race and we are also looking to broadcast the race as well, which ARCA will help promote.

I will provide more information about the date and entry information as well as prizes and such that will be provided. There will be an entry fee of $20 and 100% of all monies generated by this event will go to Bill and his wife to aid them in their time of need. Prizes will be provided to the competitors based on their placement in the event.

Donations can also be made by those not interested in competing in the event through a website we are currently setting up.

You can read more about Bill at his site here: http://www.focusmm.org/default.asp

More information will be posted here soon if there is interest from the members in the event. Thank you very much.
